“Inclusion Family” Active at 12th session of the CRPD Committee in Geneva
At the 12th session of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which started on 15 September 2014 in Geneva, a number of members of Inclusion International made significant contributions.
For the review of New Zealand, Mr. Robert Martin, former council member, as a member of DPOs from New Zealand, took the floor. Robert is going to run for this Committee in 2016.
For the review of Mexico, our member from Mexico, CONFE, represented by Ms. Raquel Jelinek (our council member) actively took part in briefing the CRPD committee members.
For the review of Republic of Korea (South Korea), Mr. Kim Seong Jo, President of KAIDD, our Korean member, was a part of a very big Korean DPO delegation.
For the review of Belgium, Therese Kempeners, our former Secretary General, made a statement on behalf of the Belgian Disability Forum.
