Over the last 4 years Inclusion International has been conducting a Membership Review as requested by the General Assembly in Washington in 2012.
In Washington in 2012 we agreed that we needed to grow the networks membership whilst still ensuring that families and self-advocates remain at the heart of everything we do.
In order to work out how best to do this we established the Membership Review. As part of this review we have spoken to most current members, many potential new members and the Council have spent a lot of time working out the best way to move forward.
The final Membership Review document summarises the views of our current members and the views of organisations who are interested in joining our network. It covers some the challenges organisations face in joining our network and it offers we hope the changes needed so that we can grow our global network
Current Members in good standing will be asked to vote on the review at the General Assembly in Orlando in October.
We hope you will be part of that discussion. If you have any comments and questions please send these through to email@example.com and we will be more than happy to talk with you on this important issue
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed their time and effort to the review over the years.
