Asia Pacific Input to the High-Level Meeting on Disability and Development

Inclusion International took an active part in “The Way Forward: Asia-Pacific Regional Consultation on a Disability-inclusive Development Agenda towards 2015 and Beyond” held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 15 to 16 May 2013. This is part of the series of regional consultation process to make a contribution to the High Level Meeting on Disability and Development. The meeting agreed to endorse the priorities of “Incheon Strategy to “Make the Right Real” for Persons with Disabilities in Asia and the Pacific”, which is guiding the current Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities” as the regional input to ensure disability dimension in the post 2015 development agenda.
