Call for Innovative Practices in Education


Capture_2016_04_26_10_15_45_498The Zero Project has opened a call for the nominations for Zero Project 2020. They are seeking nominations for Innovative Policies and Innovative Practices that help improve the lives of persons with disabilities in the field of Education.

The Zero Project, an initiative of the Essl Foundation, focuses on the rights of persons with disabilities globally. It provides a platform where the most innovative and effective solutions to problems that persons with disabilities face, are shared. Its sole objective is to assist in creating a world without barriers.

The Zero Project team would like to invite you to nominate innovative practices concerning this year’s topic: Education. This is a great chance to deliver innovative practices and policies with regard to inclusive education. We hope to use this wonderful opportunity to showcase our members progressive attempts to develop and practice inclusive education in mainstream schools for the benefit of all children.

Up to 80 projects will be selected to present their innovations at the annual Zero Project Conference at the United Nations in Vienna, where they will be joined by more than 600 experts and leaders from over 80 countries. Awarded projects will also be featured in the annual Zero Project Report and will be shared via social media throughout 2020.

They are looking for projects that have shown a measurable impact on the lives of people with disabilities, are innovative and have the potential to be replicated in other regions or contexts.

Anyone can nominate, any project and self-nominations are also accepted.

The deadline for nominations is 23 June 2019.
