COVID 19: Our Members Resources and Processes

We know from history that in times of crisis, people with intellectual disabilities and their families are at very high risk of being isolated, abandoned and forgotten.

People with intellectual disabilities and their families are at risk of being denied equal access to health care and supports when they need them most.

We have already heard examples of such stories during the current global health crisis. We call on Governments, health care providers, emergency workers, friends and neighbours to remember those who are most vulnerable in your communities.

Our international network is mobilizing to create resources and supports in their countries and communities to help make information available in accessible formats and to ensure that people have access to the supports they need.

You will find below the resources that our members have developed to help reach people with intellectual disabilities.
