David Corner – Self Advocate representing Asia-Pacific

My name is David Corner. I am a person with intellectual disabilities. I come from New Zealand.

I work for IHC as a national self-advocacy adviser and I am the Asia Pacific representative for Inclusion International. I have been on the Council for 4 years, I was elected in Ottawa, Canada in 2008. I took over from Robert Martin on the Council.

My role is representing the Asia Pacific region, working with other people and being involved in Inclusion International. I think it is a really great opportunity and a wonderful thing for people to know about.
