Global survey on a good welfare system

In partnership with the Centre for Welfare Reform, Citizen Network has launched a global survey to explore what makes a good welfare system.

Simon Duffy is Director of the Centre for Welfare Reform, a think tank based in Sheffield, England. Much of Simon’s work has focused on the development of Self-Directed Support to enable people with disabilities and families to control their own support.

Simon is also involved in the movement for basic income and has been working with allies in the disability movement to explore how the idea of Basic Income Plus might replace current disability benefits.

Simon spoke at Europe in Action 2019 about Universal Basic Income. Universal Basic Income is an idea that everyone should receive an amount of money from the state which would allow them to live independently and without poverty.

The survey only takes 4 minutes to complete and they are seeking as many responses as possible so please feel free to share it.
