APAE São Paulo are hosting an international seminar on Legal Capacity and Assisted Decision-Making in Sao Paulo, Brazil held on 20 and 21 September 2018.
The Seminar will address relevant issues such as the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Brazilian Inclusion Law and legal capacity and supported decision making as tools for the autonomy and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
The challenge of implanting this new paradigm of legal capacity is placed and depends intrinsically on the participation of People with Disabilities themselves, their families and organizations. In this scenario, knowing the experience of other countries in relation to
the topic helps us think about ways to translate good practices and incorporate them into our reality.
The event is free to attend.
