Once per quarter, the Regional Representatives of Latin America on Inclusion International’s Council, Gabriela Martínez (Mexico) and Dominique Kantor (Argentina) meets with the members in the Americas.

On February 5th, members in the region will meet to discuss:

  • Experiences and key takeaways for the region from the 2025 World Congress
  • What “good care and support” means from the perspectives of self-advocates and families – what is unique about care and support in our region?
  • Building a stronger, unified voice in the Americas region to work together for the inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities.

This event takes place quarterly to guarantee that International Inclusion members in the Americas have a protected space to coordinate activities and improve their collaboration and understanding of the region.

The meeting will be at 07:00 hours in Mexico City and Managua / 14:00 in Bogotá and New York.

The meeting will be held on Zoom, and will have interpretation in English and Spanish.
