Conference attendees speak up at last year's Europe in Action.

The conference is where Inclusion Europe’s movement comes together to:

  • Meet and exchange on what is happening in our organisations and countries.
  • Learn from one another about how to promote inclusion successfully.
  • Discuss and plan the next steps in our fight for full rights and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and families.

As the host of this event, Enable Scotland will welcome organisations from 39 European countries, who will share learning and discuss approaches to improve inclusion throughout Europe.

Members will join key stakeholders from across Europe, including Scottish and UK Governments, influential members of Scottish civil society, public sector agencies, business, academia, and leaders from the third sector.

JUDY Project Presentation

Several Inclusion International members will be presenting on deinstitutionalisation at the conference. These presentations are part of our larger work on the recently announced JUDY Project.

These members will present on the present situation of deinstitutionalisation in their countries.

They will also collect feedback from other members with experience in deinstitutionalisation at this conference. This includes the best ways to shape deinstitutionalisation advocacy.
