The Families Summit is a gathering of families of people with intellectual disabilities. It is a space for families to connect, share experiences, and work together to make inclusion a reality.

What is the Families Summit?

The Families Summit is a one-day event before the World Congress. It is a space for families to:

  • Share your stories, challenges, and successes
  • Talk about the role families play in advocating for inclusion
  • Learn about what works in different countries
  • Support each other and build a stronger family network around the world

Families are at the heart of our movement, and this is a space to come together, learn, and inspire one another.

How do I sign up?

If you are attending the Families Summit, you will register as part of your World Congress ticket. You do not need to sign up separately.
