Inclusion International is starting a new self-advocacy group focused on gender. This group is specifically for women and gender diverse people with intellectual disabilities.

The group will talk about and do advocacy on issues that affect women, girls, and gender diverse people with intellectual disabilities.

Any self-advocate who is a woman or who is gender diverse in our network can join. If you have female or gender diverse (for example, non-binary) self-advocates who may be interested, please let them know about the group!

The group’s first meeting will be this Thursday, February 12th, 4pm CET. You can check the time for you here.

Currently, the meeting will have translation between English and Portuguese.

If your organisation would like to organise interpretation into another language so your self-advocates can participate in their language, please contact Ailis.

Self-advocates and their supporters can register for the meeting here.

In order to keep the group a safe space, we ask that all self-advocates attend with a support person who is also a woman or gender diverse.
