During this meeting, members can hear updates about the work of the Inclusion International network. We will also elect Council members and Officers, including our new President Elect!
Our 2026 General Assembly will take place virtually.
How to Register for the General Assembly
We are running the same meeting twice so that people from different time zones can join. You only need to attend one session.
Both General Assembly sessions will be in English, with interpretation into other languages. Please check the languages before you register.
Both General Assembly sessions will be on November 18, 2026.
- Session 1 – English, French, and Arabic
9 am UK time (check your local time here)
- Session 2 – English and Spanish
4 pm UK time (check your local time here)
What will happen at the General Assembly?
We always share an agenda and supporting papers one month before an Inclusion International General Assembly.
An agenda is a plan for the meeting.
Supporting papers are documents that give more information about different topics on the agenda.
This makes sure that members know what to expect at the General Assembly, and have plenty of time to think about questions that they might have in advance.

| Report from the Nominating Committee The nominating committee will explain the rules about nominations for the Officers and Council members, and they will present the eligible nominees. | Update from the Leadership Committee Some Council members have been working together as the “Leadership Committee.” They have been thinking about all of the different ideas members have shared about making leadership more “diverse and inclusive”. Being “diverse” means that we want our leaders to be people from lots of different backgrounds and life experiences. Being “inclusive” means that everyone has what they need to fully take part as a leader. The Leadership Committee will talk about the ideas that they have heard from members about improving Inclusion International’s leadership structures. | Honorary Members At Inclusion International, one way that we celebrate the contributions of key leaders in our movement by awarding them with Honorary Life Membership. We enjoy this opportunity to tell our members about those who have worked so hard to build the strength and credibility of our organisation. | Voting At the General Assembly, members hear and talk about different things that they will vote on. Voting at the General Assembly happens through an online ballot. Sue will explain what makes an organisation eligible to vote. Sue will explain how a representative from each eligible member can cast their vote.
