Inclusion International Council Meeting
Virtual, Africa / The Americas / Asia Pacific / Europe / Middle East & North Africa (MENA)
Our Council leads our organisation and represents the voice of our members from all over the world.
Our Council is made up of our Officers (like the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary General) and two representatives from every region. They are elected by the General Assembly.
Council meets a few times each year to talk about big issues, share what is happening in their regions, and make sure that Inclusion International is being run well.
Council will meet on September 30th, 2026 for a meeting. The meeting will be at 1pm UK time. You can find the time in your time zone here.
Council meetings are only open to members of the Council, but members can contact their Council member before the meeting if there is something that they want to be discussed by the Council.
How to Take Part
Council has been doing work to help make it easier for members to understand who Inclusion International’s leaders are and how the oranisation is run.
As part of their new plan, Council meetings are now open to members.
Members can take part in the meeting as an “observer.” Being an observer means that members can watch the meeting, but cannot speak or ask questions during the meeting.
Joining a Council meeting as an observer is a good way to learn how Council works, to see how decisions get made at Inclusion International, and to think about if you might want to be an elected leader on Council in the future.
To join the September 30th Council meeting as an observer, you can register here to get the meeting link.
