We have launched the Inclusion International Learning Platform!

This new platform is an online space where our members can learn together and share what works.

It brings together the knowledge, experience, and ideas that already exist across our network. Now, they are in one place.

Why shared learning matters

Inclusion International is a global network. Our members work in very different countries and contexts. But many of the challenges we face are the same.

Members often tell us they want more ways to learn from each other. They want practical examples. They want tools they can use. They want to hear directly from other self-advocates, families, and organisations.

Shared learning helps us do better advocacy. It helps us support families and self-advocates. It helps us push for inclusion in ways that are grounded in real experience.

The Learning Platform is one way we are making this happen.

The Learning Platform is a place to learn alongside our network.

What you will find on the platform

The Learning Platform includes resources across many of the issues our members work on every day.

This includes:

  • advocacy and rights
  • inclusive education
  • living in the community and deinstitutionalisation
  • employment and livelihoods
  • family support
  • self-advocacy and leadership
  • inclusive development and humanitarian action

Many of the resources come directly from our members. They reflect what members are doing in their countries and what works in practice.

The platform will keep growing as more members share their materials and experience.

You can access the platform here with your Member Email:

Members can learn through online learning experiences about topics like building and strengthening family networks.

How this connects to our strategic plan

Our current strategic plan runs until 2030. It was approved by our General Assembly in 2022 and reflects what our members told us is important.

One of our three main goals is to expand shared learning opportunities to support the work of our members.

The Learning Platform directly supports this goal.

It helps us take the knowledge and experience within the network and share it more widely.
It supports members to create learning materials for each other.
It creates more ways for members to connect, learn, and discuss issues together, both online and in live sessions.

Our shared learning makes our network stronger.

By learning together, we make our network stronger. We also make sure our work is based on real experience and what works in different contexts.

The Learning Platform is not just a library. It is a shared space.

We will continue to add resources through our projects, webinars, and events. We also want members to shape what the platform becomes over time.

If you have materials you want to share, or ideas for learning topics, we want to hear from you.

The platform is now live, and members can start using it today.

We are also hosting a webinar on 19 February at 2pm UK time to walk through the platform and show how to use it.

This is one more way we are working together as a network to support inclusion, strengthen advocacy, and learn from each other.
