Take a Leadership Role in Our Network: Co-Chair Roles Now Open!
- Inclusive employment
- Closing institutions
To help create new spaces for our members to collaborate, Inclusion International has launched 7 new working groups and discussion groups focused on different topics.
To help make sure that these are truly member-led spaces, all of our groups will be run by Co-Chairs.
Co-Chairs are leaders from within the Inclusion International network that are volunteering their time to lead a group and help bring members together to work and share on a particular topic.
Taking on a Co-Chair role is a great opportunity for members to take the lead in our network and to help strengthen our network’s work on a topic that is important to you!
If a Co-Chair role sounds like an opportunity you or someone else in your organisation might be interested in, we are pleased to announce the launch of our call for applications to be a group Co-Chair!
There will be 2-3 Co-Chairs for each group, and they will work together to:
- Bring together the members of their group
- Lead group meetings
- Start conversations within the group
- Supporting members of their group to participate
- Create a welcoming space where members feel comfortable learning, sharing, and having open conversations.
Members can find more details about the role in the Co-Chair Job Description!
Self-advocates, families, staff, and volunteers of our member organizations are all welcome to apply – we want to see applications from many different regions so we can have Co-Chairs that represent the diversity of their group!
Applications for Co-Chair roles will be open until April 15, 2023, and members can put their names forward through this form.
To see the full list of the 9 groups currently seeking Co-Chairs, you can find the list of groups at this link and consider which groups you might want to help lead!
