Taking Part in Inclusive Local Development Initiatives

Inclusive local development is about people with disabilities taking part in important community projects, like access to water, building schools, or improving health services.

Local councils and organisations must include people with intellectual disabilities in every step of their work.

This guide explains different ways that you can take part in Inclusive Local Development work. This includes working directly with local councils and organisations, or being part of an organisation of persons with disabilities.
