Dominique Kantor
The Americas
Together with Gabrielle Martinez, Dominique has an important role in being a link between the Council and our members in the Americas, as the self-advocate Regional Representative.
Dominique has been involved with Fundación Visibilia, a leading organization in Argentina promoting the rights of people with intellectual disabilities, for over 10 years.
She serves as a self-advocate, representing the perspectives and interests of people with intellectual disabilities.
Additionally, Dominique advocates for people with Down syndrome through her work with the Argentinian Down Syndrome Association. At the local level in Buenos Aires, she represents people with intellectual disabilities on a municipal disabilities committee.
Dominique has also previously worked as a consultant for Inclusion International, where she helped develop the Listen Include Respect guidelines. Since then, she has remained involved in promoting these guidelines, even speaking about them at the UN headquarters in New York on behalf of Inclusion International.
